Stephanie & Scott

So sometime waaaaaaay back in January, we had a photo session with Stephanie and Scott. I'm looking so forward to their wedding in May. Due to their busy schedules it seemed unlikely that we were going to be able to do the traditional "on location" shoot with them, so they opted for studio portraits. Studio sessions are always just a bit more challenging but these two made it a fun event. It's always great to do an engagement session. It gives us a little "get to know you" time. These two are relaxed and fun and the love they have for each other is so evident.

Posted here are a few of my favorites. Aren't they just the cutest couple? :)

Until next time, be blessed.

Family Matters

Greetings! I hope all is well with you and yours. Me???? I'm fine...but as usual a little buried in work. What a difference a little memory added to a computer makes.... I just got some memory and already, I feel like I'm catching up! YEA!!!!!!!!!

So anyways, the photos posted are from a shoot a couple of weeks ago. What an adorable family! The Tuckers made the job sooo easy and the weather was just perfect. We went down to one of my favorite places... Falls Park... for their session. Thank Kenya for contacting me. Oh and by the way, Kenya is a consultant for Tucker Travels. Be sure to contact her if you're like me and in serious need of a vacation! :)

Check out their slide show!

George & Chevy 2.02.08

Speaking of LOVE... February was the perfect month for Chevy and George to get married! These two are so in love that it radiates and fills the atmosphere. The way they look at each other just brings a smile to my face. It was such an honor to document their beautiful wedding. The ceremony was at Monks Grove Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. Chevy's parents were married at the same church 30 years ago! Of course, they were married in the "original" sanctuary. Chevy wanted to be sure to get a few photos outside of the original building.
The reception was held at the beautiful Marriott in Spartanburg, S.C. DJ Sam Bigby kept the party going and kept the dance floor full! He's just the best. We highly recommend him!!! Mike and Tammy of Unforgettable Wedding Video were the videographers. We had such a great time working with them again. Mike and I even exchanged cameras for a bit. He shot still photography while I shot video...what fun!
Thanks so much to Chevy and George for inviting us to capture the moments of the wedding day. It was such a treat to see it all come together. Chevy booked us almost a year before the wedding so it's been a great journey getting to know them.
These are just a few images posted. I really love the one at the top. It's Chevy and George dancing on the dance floor with Chevy's parents (enjoying being just as in love) in the foreground of the image! Love is a beautiful thing. Also, I LOVE the "you may kiss your bride" shot! What a kiss. :)

Well, that's it for now. Until next time..... be blessed and be thankful.

Chevy's Bridal Session

Hi All!
So... I finally get to post a few of Chevy's Bridal portraits from her session several weeks ago! Now that the wedding is behind us, we can show her beautiful portraits.
Chevy's session was shot at Dream Image Studios. We had a great time with the bride and her mom! What a fun session. Chevy was so willing to do just about anything. We got some really fun and funny poses at the request of her mom, who by the way is just as beautiful. :)
I'll post about Chevy and George's amazing wedding next time! Stay tuned. :) Thanks for checking in and until then....be blessed.

Exciting News... Magazine Feature!

We're so excited to be featured in the February issue of Talk Greenville Magazine.
The article is entitled "A Wedding Guide: From A to Z, Local Experts Tell Us How!" We were thrilled when we got the call about participating as wedding industry professionals. The image published is one of our favorites. It was taken at the wedding of Trevor and Joy Hennick last April. It was shot at the beautiful Mountain View Weddings by Donna. It was quite a magnificant view and a simply gorgeous day.
Another of our good friends Krystal Donald, is also featured. She's the owner of "All Occasions Celebrations". If you're looking for someone to help you pull your big day together, she's the one to call!
Go pick up the magazine when you get a chance. You can find it at Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, The Open Book, Twigs, Bloom and The Shops of Provence just to name a few. Thanks so much to Kondria Woods and Talk Greenville Magazine for asking for our professional opinion. We've been counting down the weeks to publication. :)
I'm so thankful to God for how he's blessed this business to continue to grow. We've met sooo many wonderful people. Made so many great friends all while doing what we love to do. I'm usually so busy working that I don't stop to look around. But I do realize how fortunate I am to be able to document lives, weddings, births and relationships through my lens. It is truly an honor.
OK... enough reflection...time to get back to work! :) Until next time, BE BLESSED and be THANKFUL.

White ~ McCroskey Wedding

Kayce & Chris
Jan. 26, 2008
Greenville, SC

Kayce and Chris' wedding was held at the beautiful Gassaway Mansion a week ago.. What a fun way to start our year of shooting! Having gotten to know them in the weeks leading up to the wedding, we felt right at home. Although it was a bit chilly outside, we were able to get some images out in front of the mansion. The bridal party was a fun group!! They were willing to brave the elements with no complaints. The bridesmaids were a handful of fun and unexpected suprises! They really enjoyed the freedom of being themselves in front of the camera.

We also got a chance to work with our friend and videographer Keith Rhodes of Creative Video Productions again. It's always nice to see a familiar vendor friend.

We have to say thank you to the couple and the family for inviting us to document the wedding. Getting to know all of you has been a treat. We feel as though we've made some really great new friends. Here are a few images from the day... enjoy! Until next time.... God Bless!
