A Thankful Holiday Season

Ok, so I'm a little late with this Thanksgiving post but I couldn't let the month of November pass by without acknowledging how thankful I am to God for all of his blessings in my life. I'm so thankful for my family and friends. I'm thankful for all of people who've entrusted their wedding photography to me. Thankful all those who've invited me to capture their memories. I'm thankful for my boys "Nory" (pictured here) and "Sabi"... the best little friends a girl could have. I'm thankful for the love and support of my family. I'm thankful for each of you who check in from time to time to see what's going on with Dream Image. I do hope to start posting on a more regular basis. :) It's just so hard to post everyday when there's so much going on. So many projects to complete....... for which I'm thankful! :)

I'll have several more post between now and the end of the year. Check back to see how the year wraps up. Until now, be blessed and be thankful!

Michelle & Woody

Wow...... is all I can say! Our last wedding of the year was quite the experience. We had fun, fun, fun! Thanks to Michelle and Woody for inviting us to capture their spectacular wedding at "Death Valley" Clemson University on GAME DAY! Talk about an adventure! This was the most unique experience. There was absolutely nothing traditional about this wedding...well, except there was a bouquet, a garter, a dress, a veil, a bride and a groom.... but other than that...nothing traditional! :)

Seriously, the march down the isle was actually a march to the stadium through hundreds of tale-gating fans! Michelle and Woody were practically celebrities. :) The wedding was even taped by ESPN once news of the event spread. The wedding took place at 4pm (before the game). Once the ceremony was over and the bride and groom welcomed the cheers from the crowd, we were able to go into the stands and capture some really cool images of the couple among the thousands of pom poms that had been placed there for the game that would take place in just a few hours.

What a day of fun. On the way back to the cars the couple was stopped by another couple that offered them some wine...so there it was... the toast! Then later Tim went and gathered a whole group of single ladies for the bouquet toss. The ladies were so happy to participate. Of course once the guys saw this, we had to do the garter toss as well. It was so wonderful that people were so happy for them and wanting to be part of the celebration.

Woody is the biggest Clemson Tiger fan...so Michelle, wanting to do something really special for him decided to try to get it arranged that they be married at the stadium. Woody was one happy groom.

Thank you guys for asking us to share of your wedding day! I'm glad we could finally meet face to face after months of emails and phone calls! I'm glad to have met some great new friends! The images posted are just a few favs from the day. Can't wait to see the rest. Just enjoy this little sneak preview for now.

Well that wraps up our weddings for this year. Now, maybe we'll have some extra time to catch up!!!:) We've still got parties and portraits to shoot, so there will be more blog entries coming. This is it for this one however. Gotta get some rest. I'm wiped out! Until next time, be blessed.

just a little busy..

Hello all... I'm still around, just been a little busy! :) I love what I do, but it just never ends. :)I've been meaning to post a new entry for about two weeks now. I've been reflecting over this past year as it comes to an end. It's been a very busy year for us. We've met so many wonderful people and shot so many amazing weddings! Thanks to everyone who's invited us to capture your wedding, or party or kids. We've enjoyed getting to know all of you better. I'd also like to says thanks to all of the great couples that have booked their weddings with us for next year! We're looking forward to the engagement and bridal sessions...and we're very excited about the weddings. We are so blessed and thankful to God for allowing us to be able to do what we love and meet so many beautiful people.

Now that the holiday season is basically upon us, I'd like to wish a happy season to everyone! Enjoy your friends and family and be thankful you have them. :) Hopefully, I'll get a few more posts in before the end of the year! :)

I guess that's it for now. I'll post again SOON! :) Until then, be blessed.
