A day with my Boys!

Yesterday I had a chance to spend some quality time with my babies, Nory and Sabi. They soon found themselves in the middle of a photo session. Of course the promise of some nice "treats" at the end of it, kept them interested. :) Nory is more of the professional between the two. He's used to the sound of the shutter and the flash of light. No flash was needed for these photos however. I love the bright color of Nory's portraits and I love the little pop of red on Sabi's collar.

I take so many pictures of these little bundles of happiness, but these I'll have to get framed. They're just the cutest little sweeties. Yes, I love my boys! They give me so much joy (and sometimes not so much:) ), but I wouldn't trade them for anything! They provide pure unconditional love and acceptance. They teach me something everyday.

I'm sure we'll have another session soon. I post the pics when we do! Until next time, may God bless you and yours.

I love Nora! :)

OK... so this cat is so cute. She reminds me of my cat "Sabi". Of course, Sabi hasn't displayed any musical abilities....yet! I'll have to test him out. :) I hope you all are doing well. We're busy as ever... trying to get caught up. I'll post again soon. Until then, be blessed!

American Idol Fever!!!

So we got a chance to check out the American Idols on tour the other night! It was quite a terrific show! I didn't really know what to expect, but found myself singing and yelling "Ya'll better sing!" :) Every one's performance was great. Sanjaya's rendition of Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel" was very entertaining. Lakisha brought the house down with her performance of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You"... that girl gave me chills! Of course Melinda's performance of Aretha's "Natural Woman" was flawless. Blake was just unbelievable! Of course he was my favorite on the show, so seeing him live was a real treat. Phil Stacey's version of "America the Beautiful" was so fitting as he donned his Navy Uniform for the performance. Chris Richardson wowed the crowd with his vocals and Justin Timberlake looks! Gina Glocksen was full of energy and spunk. Her vocals were dead on as well. Haley Scarnato did a fantastic job. Greenville's own Chris Sligh received a booming welcome home cheer from all the hometown fans and supporters. His performance was terrific. Last but not least, the American Idol herself Jordin Sparks lit up the stage as she finished the night with her performance. Her delivery of "I (who have nothing)" was simply beautiful. She did a great job with the song on the show, but hearing it live was absolutely breathtaking.
Oh and as we enjoyed the show, we took a few moments to get some snap shots of the idols. :)

OK, I the entertainment critic will end here by saying that music is the air that I breath. Most people that know me are aware of this, but for those of you who don't... now you do. Seeing the idols pursue their dreams of music just warmed my heart and inspired me to pick up my guitar again. :) Until next time ... be blessed.
