Merry Christmas!

Well it's hard to believe but Christmas is tomorrow!!! Wow. I wish all of you the happiest holiday season. I was planning on doing a year in revue post but I am SWAMPED with work. Maybe I'll get a chance to reflect on the past year at some point this week. We'll see. :)

I hope that you'll all enjoy your holidays and be thankful for all of God's blessings. I know I am. So thankful. Until next time, be blessed.

Larry & Alicia Rogers

A couple of weeks ago we got a chance to hang out with
a great couple out of Spartanburg, SC. Alicia and Larry
met us in Greenville for their portrait session. The weather was perfect for such an occasion.

We've been so busy I'm just getting a chance to post a blog about them. As you can see they are a beautiful loving couple. They look incredibly young to be approaching their 7th wedding anniversary! :)

Thanks to Alicia and Larry for being such a fun loving, spontaneous couple. We had a lot of fun on your shoot.
Thanks for all the jumping... ha ha ha. So here's just a few shots from the session... a little sneak peak for now.
We'll have your photos posted soon.

That's all for now. Check back soon... we've got more sessions and photos to come! Until next time, be blessed.

Anastasia & Pedro

What a great time we had with Stacy and Pete! The two traveled from Atlanta last weekend to take care of some wedding plans here in Greenville and it was the perfect time to shoot their engagement portraits! The session took place at the very scenic Falls Park in Greenville, S.C. Thankfully the weather was just perfect... not too cold at all.
I loved the colors that they wore. The vibrant red was perfect for the sunny day and it also represented to me the energy of their love for each other.
I'm so looking forward to the wedding in April of next year (which isn't too far around the corner) :) Special thanks to Stacy and Pete for letting us share in what I'm sure will be a beautiful wedding. Thanks for a terrific session on last weekend. It was great getting to know you both a little better. Here are just a few images from the session...just a little sneak peak... for now.
Well, I'm off to bed. It's only Tuesday and I'm already feeling TIRED. :) Of course I guess that's to be expected coming off of a weekend that included tons of portrait sessions. Whew! I'm beat!
Until next time, be blessed. Check back soon... there's more to come!

A Thankful Holiday Season

Ok, so I'm a little late with this Thanksgiving post but I couldn't let the month of November pass by without acknowledging how thankful I am to God for all of his blessings in my life. I'm so thankful for my family and friends. I'm thankful for all of people who've entrusted their wedding photography to me. Thankful all those who've invited me to capture their memories. I'm thankful for my boys "Nory" (pictured here) and "Sabi"... the best little friends a girl could have. I'm thankful for the love and support of my family. I'm thankful for each of you who check in from time to time to see what's going on with Dream Image. I do hope to start posting on a more regular basis. :) It's just so hard to post everyday when there's so much going on. So many projects to complete....... for which I'm thankful! :)

I'll have several more post between now and the end of the year. Check back to see how the year wraps up. Until now, be blessed and be thankful!

Michelle & Woody

Wow...... is all I can say! Our last wedding of the year was quite the experience. We had fun, fun, fun! Thanks to Michelle and Woody for inviting us to capture their spectacular wedding at "Death Valley" Clemson University on GAME DAY! Talk about an adventure! This was the most unique experience. There was absolutely nothing traditional about this wedding...well, except there was a bouquet, a garter, a dress, a veil, a bride and a groom.... but other than that...nothing traditional! :)

Seriously, the march down the isle was actually a march to the stadium through hundreds of tale-gating fans! Michelle and Woody were practically celebrities. :) The wedding was even taped by ESPN once news of the event spread. The wedding took place at 4pm (before the game). Once the ceremony was over and the bride and groom welcomed the cheers from the crowd, we were able to go into the stands and capture some really cool images of the couple among the thousands of pom poms that had been placed there for the game that would take place in just a few hours.

What a day of fun. On the way back to the cars the couple was stopped by another couple that offered them some wine...so there it was... the toast! Then later Tim went and gathered a whole group of single ladies for the bouquet toss. The ladies were so happy to participate. Of course once the guys saw this, we had to do the garter toss as well. It was so wonderful that people were so happy for them and wanting to be part of the celebration.

Woody is the biggest Clemson Tiger fan...so Michelle, wanting to do something really special for him decided to try to get it arranged that they be married at the stadium. Woody was one happy groom.

Thank you guys for asking us to share of your wedding day! I'm glad we could finally meet face to face after months of emails and phone calls! I'm glad to have met some great new friends! The images posted are just a few favs from the day. Can't wait to see the rest. Just enjoy this little sneak preview for now.

Well that wraps up our weddings for this year. Now, maybe we'll have some extra time to catch up!!!:) We've still got parties and portraits to shoot, so there will be more blog entries coming. This is it for this one however. Gotta get some rest. I'm wiped out! Until next time, be blessed.

I've been reflecting over this past year as it comes to an end. It's been a very busy year for us. We've met so many wonderful people and shot so many amazing weddings! I guess that's it for now. I'll post again SOON! :) Until then, be blessed.

Hi again... I hope you all have been enjoying this great weather! I sure have. Although.. I am getting a bit concern about the lack of rain. Maybe we'll be blessed with a down pour soon.

So Saturday we spent the afternoon photographing Will, Joe and Steve Christian down at Falls Park (one of the most popular spots for photos) :) Thanks to Steve for inviting us to capture your boys through photography. They are just the cutest!!! Lil Will took a little while to warm up, but soon he was up and about and we were trying to keep up with him! :)

The images posted are just a few from the session. We had a hard time deciding what to post, so since both Tim and I shot the session, we decided to chose 3 each to post. Oooohhh ..... I just thought of something... lets run a little contest! For the first person to correctly choose which three images are mine and which three are Tim's.... you'll receive a $25 gift card to The Olive Garden. (Yum Yum) The photos are posted randomly, so email your choices to contest@dreamimagephoto.com . You'll have until Wednesday at 7pm to vote. Be sure to include your contact info in the email. Good Luck! :)

That's it for now... gotta get some sleep. :)

Be Blessed

Greetings! I'm finally getting a chance to post some images from Tameika and Travis' wedding. The wedding was a grand affair held at Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greenville, SC. The reception was held at the Sawmill. The day was filled with laughter and joy. The bride and groom decided to break tradition and see each other before the ceremony. We were there to capture the moment they first laid eyes on each other. I'd like to say a special thank you to Andrew Robinson for recommending us... THANKS a bunch!!! :) Thanks to Tameika and Travis for inviting us to capture their day. Thanks to everyone who's recommended us. We've gotten tons of recommendation calls recently.

The images above are just a few from the day. As you can see, it was quite a beautiful wedding. Check out their slideshow!! I'll post again soon. Until next time.... be blessed!

Family Ties...

Hello All! I hope your weekend was wonderful. We got a chance to enjoy some great weather on Saturday while we hung out with the Waldrop family. These are a few images from their portrait session at Reedy Falls Park in Greenville, SC. We had a great time with them. Miss Hailey was particularly adorable! The last time we photographed her, she was just a teeny tiny little thing... maybe just a few months old. It's amazing to see little ones grow into their own little personalities. She has lots of energy!!! :) We always have a great time when kids are the subject. They're always gonna give you something to "catch". :) Thanks to Kelly and Billy for inviting us to capture the spirit of their family. Here's just a sneak peak at what we saw through our lenses.
I particularly love the image to the left. How precious and sweet. By the end of the session Hailey had had enough :) as seen below with her Dad.

In other news, we're gearing up for our holiday season. If you'd like holiday portraits, Christmas cards etc... now is a good time to let us know. :)

Also, we're going to host a contest in the very near future to give away a FREE portrait or engagement session. Be sure to check back for details.

Well that's it for now. Gotta go and get to work!!! Until next time... be blessed.

Happy B-day and more....

Karter turned 1 year old last month! It's amazing to see the growth and development of a little one. He's the sweetest little boy you'd ever want to meet. Thanks to his parents Tashma and Kirk for letting us document his growth. It's nice to think back to when we shot the maternity portraits before he was born.

In other news, the move is complete! Of course now the real work starts with getting organized and set up. I'm feeling a day or two off coming on. :) I'm still a little tired from the wedding we shot last weekend. It was an all day affair with us starting around 10:30am. I'll post some images soon. I guess that's all for now. I gotta go....and get back to work.

Be Blessed

Christmas???

Hello all! It's that time again... at least for us. Time to start thinking about the holidays. We'll begin booking our Christmas and holidays sessions on October 1st. If you're thinking about sending personalized Christmas cards this year, let us know. We offer a variety of styles and sizes.

The adorable card above features our friends Steven and Claire Crisp and their precious doggie Ringo! I had a lot of fun during this session last year out at Falls Park in Greenville. Ringo was too cute in his santa suit and quite the poser I must say. :)

We Remember......

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the lives of the victims and remember the families of the tragedy that struck our country six years ago today.

It's hard to imagine what today must feel like to those left behind. I pray that God will give them comfort and peace.

I also want to take this time to thank all of our heroes in the armed forces as they guard our country and our freedom. The work you do is greatly admired and appreciated. Thank you to my brother Anthony, who is a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. We are so proud of you!

It's hard to believe that it's been six years. Let's keep the victims' families in our prayers. Until next time....

Big News for Dream Image!

Dream Image is moving! :) Yes... on top of everything else we're doing... we're moving. Our current studio and office have been so enjoyable, but we've just outgrown it and need more space. After months of searching for just the right location...I found it! It's going to require a lot of work to get it up and going, but it will be well worth it when it's finished. We'll be at our regular location until September 30th.

I'll be sure to keep you guys posted at the different stages of development of the new studio. When it's all finished, were going to host a great party to celebrate! I'm very excited about this new venture.

The photo posted is an image I shot at the beach a few weeks ago. My sister Gina, did a little sand art and I just thought it was beautiful. I particularly like the way the sunlight shines in the background. And I LOVE the message. :)

Until next time (which I hope won't be too long).... be blessed.

Am I back already???

Hi there friends. I can't believe my time away went soooo fast! I spent most of the week relaxing on the beach and frolicking in the ocean. It was a much needed and dare I say it.... much deserved VACATION! I haven't taken any real time away in quite a few years. Actually, I haven't taken break since the birth of Dream Image Photography. I so enjoyed myself and my family. Timothy went along for the trip too. We all had a great time. On the last day we took in a show (the Le Grande Cirque)! It was quite a treat. I left inspired to get physically fit, to become stronger and to just live better... healthier. If you ever get the chance you should definitely check out the show!

So now we'll get ready for Tameika and Travis' wedding! We're shooting Tameika's Bridal portraits this weekend. I know that Tameika will make a beautiful bride. Unfortunately we won't be able to post of photo from her bridal session until after the wedding.
I guess that's it for now. It's time to get back to work!!! Albums, Albums, Albums! We're almost caught up. :) Until next time, be blessed.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Me and my girls! .... Where's Shawn???

My Mom's birthday was last Wednesday! Isn't she beautiful! I won't tell her age, but let me just say that she could fool a lot of people. :) We had a blast at her birthday dinner. We have this new tradition in my family ( extended family and all)... the birthday person chooses a restaurant and we all meet up and have dinner. Well, because my Mom's birthday "snuck" :) up on us... not everyone could make it. We still managed to sit for almost 3 hours, eating, chatting, laughing, watching her open her gifts and just having a great time. The cool thing is... is that we're going to do it again when we can have more party guests!

Red Lobster was her restaurant of choice. She has this thing for seafood... she LOVES seafood. I think she could probably eat it everyday. The best part of the dinner for me was by far THE CAKE!!!!!!!! Yum, yum, yum! It was a pink lemonade cake from Strossners.
My sister Gina came down from Charlotte to attend the festivities. She's a real birthday party kind of a girl. She always brings the balloons! She says it's not a party without balloons. I must say, the dozens of pink balloons she brought to my birthday dinner was quite a beautiful sight. I have new love for all things pink as a result.

All in all, it was a great time had by all. Happy " " Birthday Mom! I love you verrrrrrrrrryyyy much! Well that's a wrap for now. I'll post again soon! Until next time, I pray that you will be blessed.

Donald and Andretta!

On Sunday we hung out with my "best" cousin Donald Robinson and his fiance' Andretta! :) What a beautiful couple they make. We started with a few studio portraits and thought that since the weather was a bit overcast, that it would be a good idea to get some shots of them on location in downtown Greenville. Well. . . the minute we got downtown the sun came out and boy was it HOT!!! Donald and Andretta were troopers however ... bearing the heat to allow us to get a few great shots of them in the great outdoors. :)

The following is just a little sneak peak of the session. Thanks to Donald and Andretta for allowing us to capture their obvious love for each other! It was truly a pleasure. Until next time be blessed.
